Social and Cultural integration in the EU

The Specially Unknown EU project, BMPEU, financed by the European Union, collected 152 life stories from refugees in Antwerp, Bochum, Paris and Turin. These stories were videoed by refugee interviewers who were themselves trained in oral history by the project. The stories now form part of the city archives and museums, and an English version is kept on a European database.
